Finding Light in the Shadows

A Reflection on Luxembourg Art Prize

Receiving recognition from the Luxembourg Art Prize Selection Committee is an honor that holds deep significance for me. This acknowledgment is a powerful affirmation of my journey, one that has led me from the shadows into the light. For many of us, life in the shadows can be isolating and filled with uncertainty, making the act of stepping forward and being seen a profound challenge.

In a world that can often feel discouraging, this recognition serves as a beacon of hope. It reminds me of the enduring importance of compassion, love, and understanding, and it confirms that even in the darkest places, there is light to be found.

This recognition gives me renewed energy to continue my artistic journey. It lends even greater significance to my project, “Human Not Shadow,” which explores the delicate balance between the visible and the invisible, the known and the unknown.

Thank you, Pinacothèque, for this honor. It inspires me to keep moving forward, to continue delving into the complexities of the human experience, and to bring the shadows into the light.

Thank You Pinacothèque!
