Chocolate Girl – by Luis de Anin, 2012 ©

Morning in Arraial d’Ajuda – first coffee, people passing by – smiling people, angry people, crazy people, painful people, all kind of people. Some don’t care, others are in rush. From the kitchen aromas of all kinds – sweet to fat. Hot it’s very hot day. My heart jump from happiness to sadness and hold on in between. It’s loud and peaceful at once. What is the formula of happiness? I ask myself. I can’t finde the answer. I realize – the moment, the very moment is what is all about. I saw this very very big women, leaking on ice-cream walking into one other patisserie. She was angry and kind of proud – maybe she did’t got enough sugar in the blood – as she left the store, she smiled again. The formula for happiness must be quite simple – get enough sugar in and you ‘ll smile all day around. What, if there is no sweetness in range. Your life turn into nightmare, though. Conclusion: always carry something sweet with you. You smile is the most sweetest swetener in the world, if you smile, everything change.
